Popponesset Beach is a village that generations have summered. My family purchased a cottage in Popponesset in 1960, I grew up summers on the Cape, and purchased our cottage in 1989. We moved to the Cape full time in 2006. We bought our cottage because it was bright and cheery, a great neighborhood, and close to the beach. We renovated the cottage and put in skylights, cathedral ceilings, new windows, doors, and hardwood floors. an open floor plan from the living room, to the kitchen and dining area, leading to the back deck with grille and seating. Out back is an oversized outside shower, fire pit horseshoe pit, picnic table, and playground equipment. The back yard is fenced on 2 sides. We do allow cancellations in case of hurricanes.
